AproXima-te Award 2023

In the 3rd edition of the AproXima-te Award, we will honor the 3 organizations that receive the highest votes from the community.

At Plano AproXima, we recognize the importance of giving a voice not only to sex workers and their clients but also to everyone in the community who uses the services provided by our associations.

For this reason, the AproXima-te Award 2023 will include a public vote to select the three winning projects. We want to acknowledge the effort and work of the key projects that have been providing essential support to sex workers for years, as well as the impact each project has on the communities they serve.

For more information, please consult the regulations and the voting form.

What is the purpose of the AproXima-te Award 2023?

The main objective of the AproXima-te Award 2023 — Merit and Excellence — is to contribute to public recognition and to value the efforts of teams working tirelessly on the ground, implementing projects and activities tailored to people engaged in sex work.

The work carried out by associations:

  • Helps reduce the stigma associated with sex work;

  • Increases access to community resources related to health, rights, and social support;

  • Contributes to a positive impact on working conditions and safety.

This award provides financial support to projects that assist sex workers and aim to maintain existing activities or implement new ones, thereby improving current social responses.

The three winning associations will be selected through an online vote and will be those that receive the highest number of votes on the voting form.

Voting deadline

Voting for the 3rd edition takes place from August 2, 2023, to October 30, 2023, as specified in the competition regulations.
